Loaders, Skid Steers & Tractors Specifications
Wheel Loaders are versatile 2 axle tractor-mounted shovels that move material from stockpiles to trucks and transport materials around job sites. Bucket sizes range from 1 cubic yard for small utility machines, to 20 cubic yards or more for large models for mining applications. Small and mid-sized wheel loaders frequently have an attachment coupler that allows them to use work tools such as forks, brooms, and lifting arms. Wheel loaders make material handling and loading safer, faster, and more precise and range from Compact Wheel Loaders, Small Wheel Loaders, Medium Wheel Loaders and Large Wheel Loaders. Smaller class loaders articulate so they can maneuver freely in tight places and inflict minimal ground damage.
Skid Steer Loaders are low-profile four-wheel machines where the wheels mechanically lock in synchronization on each side, and the machine turns by skidding or dragging its fixed-orientation wheels across the ground. The rigid frame and strong wheel bearings prevent forces caused by the dragging motion from damaging the machine. Awith tracked machines, the high ground friction produced by skid steers can damage soft or fragile road surfaces. Skid-steer loaders can also be equipped with crawler tracks instead of the wheels, and are sometimes known as multi-terrain loaders or a compact tracked loaders.
Unlike a conventional front end wheel loader, the lifting arms in these machines are alongside the driver and the pivot points are behind the driver's shoulders. Modern skid loaders have fully enclosed cabs and other features to protect the equipment operator. Like wheel loaders, these machines can move material from one location to another and carry material or aggregates in its bucket or load material into a truck or trailer.
Modern Skid Steers now offer various attachments to meet the demands of the most any application.
