Badger State Highway Equipment, Inc. (Badger) began manufacturing Badger Breakers in 1988. The 8600 Badger Breaker was the first 8-foot (2.4m) wide guillotine-style concrete breaker. It was soon followed by a truck-mounted version, the T8600 Badger Breaker. These two models are very effective for performing crack/break & seat of concrete pavements prior to overlaying with asphalt and for breaking for removal concrete pavements of all types and thicknesses.
Badger invented and manufactured the first multi-head breaker in 1995, the MHB Badger Breaker®. The MHB is the premier concrete breaker for performing rubblization of concrete pavements prior to overlaying with asphalt or concrete. It revolutionized the rubblization process by allowing for full lane-width rubblization in a single pass. The MHB is also very effective at breaking concrete for removal in urban areas due to the lower vibration produced by the MHB’s smaller hammers. Badger also manufactures a truck-mounted version, the MHBT Badger Breaker.
