Schwab GMBH

The individual companies Gebrüder Steinbock Baumaschinen, Wilfried Schwab Baumaschinen and Hydraulikkran-Handelsgesellschaft (later SCHWAB Baukranservice GmbH), which were founded in 1967, 1976 and 1996, have now become an efficient group of companies for the construction and secondary trades, for industrial companies and for the skilled trades. The company is positioned nationwide with the sale and rental of construction machinery and equipment and the service to them. In the field of construction machinery, we are premium partners and certified service centers for well-known manufacturers such as Potain (Manitowoc), Wacker-Neuson, Kramer, Sennebogen, Manitou.

 
In 2018, the three companies merged to form SCHWAB GmbH with the managing directors Lars Holzhey and Jochen Schwab. BMD-Baumaschinendienst GmbH & Co.KG in Heidelberg has also been on board as a partner since 2017. There, Holzhey and Schwab share the management with Clemens Hubert.

SCHWAB and BMD currently employ over 130 people. The wide range of products with which companies are always able to find safe solutions for different customer needs comes from the productions of leading brand manufacturers. The general philosophy is all-round support, starting with construction site advice, organization, service and delivery. The BMD and SCHWAB guarantee optimal service even under the most difficult conditions thanks to their own, trained and efficient assembly personnel. The customers are also served outside of the operating facilities by means of a large fleet. This ranges from the small assembly bus to the 40 t special truck with flatbed or low loader.
