If you receive a suspicious email or are the victim of a scam, email us and contact the appropriate law enforcement authorities right away. Remember if a deal sounds to good to be true, it probably is.
We have established guidelines to identify sellers.
1) Verified Seller - We have determined the location of the seller is valid, we have validated the contact information of the seller.
2) Non Verified Seller - We have not determined to location of the seller, nor have we determined the contact information of the seller is valid.
We don't own, buy or sell machines listed on our site.
Machine.Market is an online heavy equipment, parts, attachments and components listing service that connects machinery buyers with sellers. We are not a machinery dealer. Any listing information about a particular machine comes directly from the seller--not from us. For reference only, machine.market supplies information about heavy machinery models, such as specifications, dimensions, charts, manuals and capacities. Machine data is generally supplied by the manufacturer and we cannot guarantee the accuracy and this data. Never operate or use piece of machine based on any data we supply. If you receive an email that implies we're selling or buying a machine, please email [email protected] and to notify law enforcement. It's most certainly a scam
We do not get involved in transactions between buyers and sellers..
Don't respond to any email that appears to come from Machine.Market (for example, by displaying our logo) and urges you to complete the sale or purchase of a machine listed on our site. Such emails are a sure sign of a scam.
Other signs of fraud are emails that:
Claim the security of a transaction is guaranteed by Machine.Market.
Imply we've verified information about a particular buyer, seller or listing.
Machine.Market doesn't guarantee or endorse transactions, and we do not have preferred buyers and sellers.
We don't ask you for personal or financial information via email.
Online fraud often begins with a spoof email requesting financial information. These spoof, or scam, emails often impersonate a reputable company such as Machine.Market by illegally displaying a company's name, logo or trademark. The intent is to deceive customers into revealing information such as:
Username
Password
Social security number
Bank account number
Bank routing number
Credit card number
