{"id":7737,"date":"2016-10-19T03:33:32","date_gmt":"2016-10-19T03:33:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/minutes.machine.market\/?p=7737"},"modified":"2016-10-19T03:33:32","modified_gmt":"2016-10-19T03:33:32","slug":"in-china-sales-of-new-excavators-surged-71-per-cent-in-september-amid-infrastructure-pickup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/in-china-sales-of-new-excavators-surged-71-per-cent-in-september-amid-infrastructure-pickup\/","title":{"rendered":"In China, sales of new excavators surged 71 per cent in September amid infrastructure pickup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"v2-processed\">The hot property market in China has propelled a surge in September sales of excavators in the country, industry data showed.<\/p>\n<div id=\"mrec-holder22\">\n<div id=\"advid-holder22\">\n<div>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scmp.com\/business\/companies\/article\/2028852\/china-excavator-sales-surge-71-cent-september-amid-infrastructure\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">South China Morning Post<\/a>, some 5,456 excavators were sold by 26 major construction machinery producers in China last month, a gain of 71 per cent from a year earlier and a 25 per cent increase on sales recorded for August, according to figures published on the website of China Construction Machinery Trade.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"v2-processed\">\u201cA recovering housing market coupled with a recent pickup in infrastructure development &#8230; have created a terrific September for China\u2019s excavator makers,\u201d said the industry news portal. \u201cAcross the spectrum we have seen a big jump in sales for September, no matter they are the small, medium or big excavators.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"v2-processed\">Chinese multinational heavy machinery maker <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sanyglobal.com\/product\/excavator\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sany Heavy Industry<\/a> was the top seller in the market, delivering 1,111 excavators last month to customers, the data indicated, while American industrial giant <a href=\"http:\/\/www.caterpillar.com\/en\/company\/global-footprint\/apd\/china.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Caterpillar<\/a> ranked second, with 753 orders for the same period.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v2-processed\">The cost of a home in China\u2019s biggest cities rose for the 17th consecutive month in September, a private survey showed, underlining the need for policymakers to adopt tougher rules to cool the property market.<\/p>\n<p class=\"v2-processed\">The average price of a new home climbed 2.83 per cent last month, to 12,617 yuan per square metre, up from a 2.17 per cent rise seen in August, said China Index Academy, a research unit of real estate portal SouFun.<\/p>\n<div class=\"scmp-v2-author-image author-image\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scmp.com\/author\/celine-ge\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"lazyload-processed loaded\" title=\"Celine Ge\" src=\"http:\/\/cdn2.i-scmp.com\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/70x70\/public\/celine-ge-250.jpg?itok=uLGMxMC-\" alt=\"Celine Ge\" width=\"70\" height=\"70\" data-original=\"http:\/\/cdn2.i-scmp.com\/sites\/default\/files\/styles\/70x70\/public\/celine-ge-250.jpg?itok=uLGMxMC-\" data-ignore=\"true\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"scmp-v2-author-name\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.scmp.com\/author\/celine-ge\">Celine Ge<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The hot property market in China has propelled a surge in September sales of excavators in the country, industry data showed.
