Mayer was also instrumental in assembling the first Liebherr R994 mining excavator during the early 1980s.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the company\u2019s first crawler loader, the LR 631 was introduced in 1984 and is still in operation today.<\/p>\n<p>Liebherr-Australia\u2019s management board thanked workers and customers for their contribution to the company\u2019s success and said they \u201clook forward to the next 35 years of increasing their product lines, providing support and service options, and developing strong partnerships with customers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Liebheer released the new 100 tonne T 236 mining truck, which the company says is the \u201cfirst diesel electric truck in its class to incorporate an oil immersed braking system with four corner retarding capabilities, providing reliable braking technology\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/vtugJ_fflI0?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Liebherr Australia is celebrating 35 years of incorporation this month, noting a steady growth of divisions, branches, and products over the years.
