It was then stored and lifted onto an ocean vessel for its 4,500-mile sea voyage across the Atlantic Ocean to Thunder Bay, Canada.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-7438\" src=\"https:\/\/cranemarket.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Ale-heavy-lift-transport-machine.market-2.jpg\" alt=\"Ale-heavy-lift-transport-machine.market-2\" width=\"533\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Ale-heavy-lift-transport-machine.market-2.jpg 533w, https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/10\/Ale-heavy-lift-transport-machine.market-2-200x300.jpg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 533px) 100vw, 533px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Once it arrived at Thunder Bay 17 days later, ALE discharged the transformer onto a 16 axle line railcar. Here, it was transported for the final leg of the journey for 1,100 miles to Gillam in Northern Manitoba.
