Two construction workers were severely injured Monday morning when a Down Cab Rough Terrain crane hit a power line in West Seattle.<\/p>\n

Emergency personnel responded to the scene, near 42nd Avenue SW and SW Oregon Street, at about 10:30 a.m. after receiving reports of a serious construction accident.<\/p>\n

Both construction workers were rushed to Harborview Medical Center with severe burn injuries.<\/p>\n

Both are in critical condition.<\/p>\n

The circumstances leading up to the accident remain under investigation.<\/p>\n

A witness at the scene told KOMO News<\/a> that she heard the construction workers say, “Whoa, whoa, whoa! Slow down!” as the crane swung through the air. Then it hit the power line.<\/p>\n
