{"id":5925,"date":"2016-08-22T14:51:02","date_gmt":"2016-08-22T14:51:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/minutes.machine.market\/?p=5925"},"modified":"2016-08-22T14:51:02","modified_gmt":"2016-08-22T14:51:02","slug":"ale-complete-first-phase-of-doha-metro-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/ale-complete-first-phase-of-doha-metro-project\/","title":{"rendered":"ALE complete first phase of Doha Metro Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ale-heavylift.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ALE Heavy Lift<\/a> has moved 1,470 heavy items to successfully complete the first phase of the new Doha metro project in June 2016.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The global heavy lifting experts were contracted to move the items as part of the Qatar Rail infrastructure development project.<\/p>\n<p>The heavy items ranged in weight between 50t \u2013 300t, (10m to 36m long) and comprised of pre-tensioned concrete pedestal, girder, bridging and segment structures that were all pre-fabricated on site.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5927\" src=\"https:\/\/cranemarket.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/ale-heavylift-transport-1-1.jpg\" alt=\"ale-heavylift-transport-1 (1)\" width=\"1024\" height=\"576\" srcset=\"https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/ale-heavylift-transport-1-1.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/ale-heavylift-transport-1-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/ale-heavylift-transport-1-1-768x432.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>ALE collected the items from the fabrication area and delivered to the crane hook at the installation point. The journey ranged between 50m and 8km, across challenging roads that changed daily.
