Approximately 45 companies were represented at the occasion, held in Lima.<\/p>\n<p>Gerardo Castillo, Manitowoc\u2019s regional business manager for Peru and Argentina, said the gathering gave crane professionals a chance to connect and share experiences amid regional and worldwide economic uncertainty.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe hope the conversations carried out at the event will turn into expanded opportunities for all the people involved in Peru\u2019s crane industry,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Gilberto Ferreira, Manitowoc\u2019s director of customer service in Latin America, said that the event was a valuable chance to gauge customers\u2019 perceptions of Manitowoc, and to showcase the company\u2019s extensive experience and support network around National Crane boom trucks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSSK is eager to continue to work with Manitowoc to further advance in the local market,\u201d he said. \u201cIn 2017 we will increase our support capacity in the country and continue to invest in the technical education of our field engineers. The partnership with SSK is growing strong and has proved to be a successful move.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A 27.2 t (30 USt) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.manitowoccranes.com\/en\/cranes\/national-crane\/boom-trucks\/swing-seat\/1300A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Crane 1300A<\/a> boom truck was on display during the event. The crane is popular in Peru and other South American countries, due in part to its class-leading features and easy transport from job site to job site.<\/p>\n<p>SSK, a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sigdokoppers.cl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sigdo Koppers<\/a> company, is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.manitowoccranes.com\/cranes\/national-crane\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">National Crane<\/a> dealer and has a service center for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.manitowoccranes.com\/en\/cranes\/grove\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Grove<\/a> and Manitowoc in Peru. The company was created in 1998 and specializes in contractor services for the mining, energy generation and industrial assembly sectors, among others.
