{"id":5661,"date":"2016-08-12T17:38:26","date_gmt":"2016-08-12T17:38:26","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/minutes.machine.market\/?p=5661"},"modified":"2016-08-12T17:38:26","modified_gmt":"2016-08-12T17:38:26","slug":"joy-global-sells-texas-steel-mill-for-29-million","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/joy-global-sells-texas-steel-mill-for-29-million\/","title":{"rendered":"Joy Global sells Texas steel mill for $29 million"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"content__segment\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.joyglobal.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Joy Global Inc.<\/a> has sold a steel plate mill in Longview, Texas, for $29 million.<\/p>\n<p class=\"content__segment\">Milwaukee-based Joy Global (NYSE: JOY) announced that it has sold the company to Charlotte, N.C.-based <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nucor.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nucor Corp.<\/a> All steel mill employees have transitioned to Nucor employment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"content__segment\">Joy Global recently agreed to be acquired by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.komatsuamerica.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Komatsu America Corp.<\/a>, a Chicagoland, based unit of Japan&#8217;s Komatsu Ltd., in a $3.7 billion deal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"content__segment\">Under the terms of the agreement with Komatsu, Joy Global stockholders will receive $28.30 per share in cash for each outstanding share of common stock. The all-cash transaction includes Joy Global debt.
