Australia’s\u00a0West-Trans Equipment<\/a> has announced that Danish crane supplier, HMF<\/a>, will be displaying its new line of vehicle loading cranes at September\u2019s 2016 IAA Commercial Vehicle Show<\/a> in Hannover, Germany.<\/p>\n

According to West-Trans, HMF\u2019s latest crane models will includes lines in the six to nine tonne metre range.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe new range carries over HMF\u2019s design brief from their larger range to use the latest high tensile steel developments and manufacturing techniques that result in significantly lower tare weights over previous outgoing models, increased strength and durability and a lower overall investment cost,\u201d West-Trans said in a statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cHMF says that these new models have an unrivalled power-to-weight ratio, which translates to a higher payload capacity for the carrier vehicle.\u201d<\/p>\n

The new HMF models include the 610<\/a>, 710<\/a>, 810<\/a> and 910<\/a>, all in knuckle boom versions, and will be available with manual or radio controls that comply with Australian Design and Use Standards AS 1418-11 and AS 2550-11.<\/p>\n

\u201cStandard features found on HMF\u2019s larger variants, such as their Power Plus link arm system on the jib cylinder, combined with 15 degrees over-bending of the jib in relation to the boom, results in optimal lifting capacities throughout the entire working area, at all distances, in high positions and close to the column,\u201d West-Trans explained. \u201cInternal hose routing through the centre of the column results in greater protection from wear and damage.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

\u201cEven though the new HMF cranes are available with reaches exceeding 11 metres, they are still very compact in their design with chassis space requirements as low as 660mm, when fitted with two additional control valves. The overall width is contained within a 2.1 metre envelope.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to West-Trans, all load monitoring and usage is monitored and stored by the RCL5300 Rated Capacity Limitation system, which is combined with the optional EVS, Electronic Vehicle Stability system.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
