The U.S. Coast Guard said six people in their 60s were rescued from the sinking vessel.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The biggest issue was that it was vertical (in the water),&#8221; said Eric Guerrein, president of Lakeshore Towing, was on site for the lifting process throughout the day Monday. &#8220;It was a challenge to right it under water.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The boat weighs about 8,000 pounds, &#8220;when it isn&#8217;t full of water,&#8221; said Guerrein, who used a 15-ton-capacity crane to turn the boat upright.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Lakeshore Towing Services, Inc in Erie, PA used a 15-ton Grove Down Cab crane to lift a\u00a027-foot-long, 4-ton Bayliner boat that sunk in Presque Isle Bay on July 23.
