\u00a0XCMG<\/a> has successfully launched the XCMG-Cloud on July 15<\/span>, an unprecedented and highly inclusive industrial cloud platform based on XCMG’s entire data and information systems in the Industry 4.0 revolution.<\/p>\n

Eying<\/span> the enormous potential in cloud computing, XCMG aims to revolutionize the traditional product and market model and transform\u00a0itself<\/span>\u00a0into a platform-based and service oriented company supported by internet technologies. The configurable, multi-lingual, highly concurrent and scalable XCMG-Cloud platform can host users around the world to promote open sharing.<\/p>\n

The joint project with AliC<\/span>loud, the cloud computer service provider of Alibaba Group Holding Limited, was first announced on May 7<\/span> and has\u00a0entered the<\/span>\u00a0development phase on May 17<\/span>. The team achieved success<\/span> in just two months<\/span>\u00a0even<\/span> there were<\/span> no prior mature examples to followelsewhere in the world<\/span>.<\/p>\n

As the XCMG-Cloud goes online, participants\u00a0of<\/span> the “XCMG Cup<\/a>” Green Innovation Design Competition will be able to submit their works\u00a0via<\/span> the cloud platform. The competition has,\u00a0<\/span>by\u00a0far,<\/span>\u00a0attracted 431 contestants globally including US, Germany<\/span> and Brazil<\/span>. Also, the technology crowdsourcing project of the small low-noise air-foil fan has already been published on the cloud.<\/p>\n

“‘XCMG Cup’ is an entry point of XCMG’s industrial cloud construction, which is highly consistent with XCMG’s long-term development strategy that balances economic growth with environment management and social responsibility. It is<\/span> the company’s commitment to contribute\u00a0to\u00a0global<\/span>sustainable development,” said Xu Xiaohui<\/span>, assistant president of XCMG.<\/p>\n

In addition to hosting projects for “XCMG Cup,” all XCMG’s subsidiaries worldwide can publish research subjects on the cloud in the future to carry out discussions<\/span>, set up projects<\/span> and implement applications<\/span> in smart<\/span> factories.
