It was installed on Pier 3 of the Bethlehem Steel Shipyard at Key Highway. It is a Whirley model 17 DE 90 and it was used to repair ships damaged during World War II.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>A crew with Ace Environmental in Curtis Bay, removed 25 years&#8217; worth of bird droppings \u2014 an estimated 500 pounds \u2014 from the Baltimore Museum of Industry&#8217;s 100-foot-tall shipyard crane last month.
