{"id":3887,"date":"2016-06-04T14:52:18","date_gmt":"2016-06-04T14:52:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/minutes.machine.market\/?p=3887"},"modified":"2016-06-04T14:52:18","modified_gmt":"2016-06-04T14:52:18","slug":"industrial-truck-and-crane-inc-link-belt-htc-8650-truck-crane-adds-new-cupola-to-historic-tarbell-house-in-pennsylvania","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/industrial-truck-and-crane-inc-link-belt-htc-8650-truck-crane-adds-new-cupola-to-historic-tarbell-house-in-pennsylvania\/","title":{"rendered":"Industrial Truck and Crane, Inc. supplies a Link-Belt HTC-8650 truck crane to add a new cupola to historic the Tarbell House in PA."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A big round of applause sounded from those who lined the 300 block of East Main Street, Titusville, PA to witness a piece of history unfold as contractors worked, using a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.itccrane.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ITC Crane<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linkbelt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Link-Belt<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linkbelt.com\/lit\/archive\/Move%20to%20Archive\/HTC\/ht8650s.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HTC-8650 Series II<\/a>\u00a0hydraulic truck crane to place the new cupola on top of the historic <a href=\"http:\/\/littlebitsofhistory.blogspot.com\/2012\/11\/ida-m-tarbell.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tarbell House<\/a>, Friday morning.<\/p>\n<p>Some of the residents viewing the scene from across the street, were in awe as they watched the 50-ton telescopic crane lift the cupola off the front lawn and suspend it in mid air until it was placed on the building.<\/p>\n<p>The Tarbell House, childhood home of famous journalist, <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Ida_Tarbell\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ida Tarbell<\/a>, was built in 1870 by Franklin S. Tarbell, using materials salvaged from Bonta House, a grand hotel in Pithole.
