The lift trucks will be delivered together with TRUCONNECT<\/strong><strong>\u00ae <\/strong><strong>remote monitoring service in August 2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The port has been a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.konecranes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Konecranes<\/a> customer since 1996; this order of four 16 ton and one 10 ton forklifts brings the number of Konecranes lift trucks in their fleet to 57. The new machines will continue to build on the port\u2019s reputation for expert handling of especially pulp and paper as well as timber. We can clearly anticipate any issues, to significantly increase uptime and efficiency of our fleet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Port of Rauma<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Located on the Finnish west coast, the city of Rauma is well known for its paper and maritime industry. Its harbour is the fifth biggest in the country, handling around 6 million tons of cargo every year. With a total of 20 berths, the port offers multipurpose facilities for import, export and transit traffic. The sheltered location of the harbour ensures ideal conditions for both sea and land traffic. The new harbour road provides quick access to the Finnish highway network. The rail line between Rauma and Kokem\u00e4ki, carrying about 3 million ton freight each year, is a part of the Finnish railway.
