The job fair will be held at the Goodwill Career Connections Center at 2701 University Parkway.<\/p>\n<p>The city needs to hire more than 40 equipment operators capable of operating backhoes, loaders, excavators and other construction equipment. Eligible operators must have a Class A or Class B commercial driver\u2019s license, or have a CDL permit.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees will be assessed on their knowledge of construction equipment and will be asked to demonstrate operating skills. Those who successfully complete the assessment will be invited to fill out job applications on the spot. Attendees should bring their CDL license or permit.<\/p>\n<div class=\"encrypted-content\">\n<p>Representatives from the city\u2019s Human Resources Department will explain the city\u2019s benefits plan and answer questions about the hiring process and working for the city.
