{"id":3100,"date":"2016-05-18T17:19:57","date_gmt":"2016-05-18T17:19:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/minutes.machine.market\/?p=3100"},"modified":"2016-05-18T17:19:57","modified_gmt":"2016-05-18T17:19:57","slug":"uks-pallet-track-recruits-operators-after-investment-in-60-linde-forklifts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/uks-pallet-track-recruits-operators-after-investment-in-60-linde-forklifts\/","title":{"rendered":"UK&#8217;s Pallet-Track recruits operators after investment in 60 Linde Forklifts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The<a href=\"http:\/\/www.expressandstar.com\/business\/business-picks\/2016\/05\/17\/pallet-track-recruits-after-investment\/#BmPg7YgmplqDKQUA.99\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Express and Star<\/a> reports Wolverhampton-based logistics specialist <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pallet-track.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Pallet-Track<\/a> has invested in a new fleet of forklift trucks and is also recruiting drivers in order to keep up with demands.<\/p>\n<p>The 60 new state-of-the-art vehicles, which were supplied by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linde-mh.com\/en\/main_page\/home.jsp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Linde Material Handling<\/a>, can transport loads of up to 2,000 kilos \u2013 almost two tons \u2013 and allow for precision load handling \u2013 a vital ingredient for the business which moves an average of more than 10,000 pallets every evening.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Lisa Burrows, operations director at Pallet-Track, said: \u201cInvestment in new technology has always been at the forefront of Pallet-Track\u2019s business vision and has allowed us to continue to achieve year-on-year growth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe new fleet of forklift trucks, along with the constant monitoring of our control process, is essential in helping us keep up with increasing demand and provide an unparalleled service to our customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe can now move pallets quicker, easier and, thanks to the work of our excellent drivers, remain the only network in the country never to lose a single consignment.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In addition to the investment in vehicles, Pallet-Track is also actively recruiting for forklift truck drivers to join the team at the 267,000 sq ft distribution centre in Millfields Road, Ettingshall, UK.<\/p>\n<p>Lisa added: \u201cOur drivers are extremely important to us and we look to show our appreciation at our annual FLT challenge \u2013 an event which showcases the skills needed to operate these vehicles and raises money for some fantastic causes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The next FLT Challenge is planned for September and will benefit Pallet-Track\u2019s 2016 charity partner, The Sick Children\u2019s Trust.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Express and Star reports Wolverhampton-based logistics specialist Pallet-Track has invested in a new fleet of forklift trucks and is also recruiting drivers in order to keep up with demands.
