More than 400 lots of mining and earthmoving equipment will go under the hammer on Wednesday, as resource specialist auctioneer\u00a0Hassalls<\/a>\u00a0gears\u00a0up for its first Perth clearance sale.<\/p>\n This includes a range of Komatsu and Caterpillar dump trucks, steel cages and sheds, and light commercial vehicles such as Toyota Prados and Hiluxs.<\/p>\n Hassalls said it expects hundreds of tradies at its auction that will be held at its Hazelmere site.<\/p>\n Following success in NSW and Queensland, Hassalls\u2019 clearance sale will be selling new and used products ranging from $5 to $500,000.<\/p>\n Smaller items on show will include bench grinders, access ladders, hose reels and toolboxes.<\/p>\n Hassalls describes itself as a \u201cbarometer\u201d for the state of the mining, energy and construction industries.<\/p>\n It said the auction will be a strong indication of the level of confidence in WA\u2019s economy.<\/p>\n Hassalls major accounts manager Matt Weaver said the auction will offer a range of high-quality products to the local community.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re expecting local business owners, trades people, farmers and international buyers seeking to fit out mining projects to come.<\/p>\n \u201cThe variety and quantity of equipment coming in this month is staggering and our items are being sold for a fraction of retail prices.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n The auction will be held at 160 Lakes Road Hazelmere at 10am, with live online bidding also available.
