Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (ZPMC<\/a>) delivered their 12000T fully revolving self-propelled floating crane, the world\u2019s largest of its kind. This massive crane can lift the equivalent in weight of 60 Boeing 747 at once, Xinhua said .<\/p>\n

This vessel will be leased to China Rescue and Salvage<\/a> (CRS) in Shanghai. It is designed with self-propelled, anchoring positioning\/DP capability, and can be used to load and discharge large body, module, jacket, pipe frame etc.<\/p>\n

It is suitable for lifting operation in offshore deep waters, and the operational areas will include East China Sea, South China Sea, North Sea, Middle East, South-East Asia, Indian Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, West of Africa, etc. For more information see full description here.<\/p>\n
