Recently, Zoomlion\u2019s<\/a> first self-produced CIFA<\/a> concrete pump truck rolled off the production line successfully in Changsha City of Hunan Province, China. It is the first pump truck made in China according to Italian design in the true sense. With all technical performance indexes up to the European standards, it will be directly exported to Turkey and other European countries.<\/p>\n

Local Production to Reduce Cost and Increase Efficiency
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

Six months ago, the CIFA production base in Hunan mainly manufactured components or semi-finished products according to Italian design drawings, and then sent them to CIFA headquarters in Italy to be assembled with the electrical system, debugged and coated, and finally delivered from Italy to customers around the world. \u201cThe transportation from Hunan to Italy requires a long time and fairly high logistics cost,\u201d said the principal of CIFA in Hunan.<\/p>\n

Last year, Zoomlion restructured and upgraded the construction machinery sector and endeavored to reduce cost and increase efficiency in an all-round way through in-depth integration and strengthening management. The CIFA branch in Hunan accelerated the domestic production of CIFA electrical system and a series of technical preparations, thus achieving deeper coordination and integration with the Italian side.<\/p>\n

After discussions with the Italian technical director, the CIFA branch in Hunan took charge of converting the design drawings and purchasing and assembling parts locally; the concrete pump truck company was mainly responsible for producing structural parts, debugging the complete vehicles and painting the vehicles; and K38C\u2019s key part – electrical system was assembled, installed and debugged by the intelligent technology company.<\/p>\n

The successful production of K38C concrete pump truck marks that the CIFA branch in Hunan has preliminarily been able to develop and produce concrete pump trucks independently, and its whole production process has been carried out locally.<\/p>\n

\u201cAccording to preliminary estimate, this move has reduced the manufacturing and logistics cost of each pump truck by about 80,000 Yuan and shortened the delivery time by at least 30 days. This is of great significance for the enterprise to realize the goal of reducing cost and increasing efficiency and rapidly responding to the market demand.\u201d<\/p>\n

In-depth Integration, Innovation and Upgrading<\/strong><\/p>\n

Zoomlion stated that the successful production of K38C concrete pump truck only marks the beginning of its efficient collaboration with Italy\u2019s CIFA.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will produce a series of CIFA\u2019s classic concrete pump trucks such as K49C, K40C, K36C, K56C and K52C. Development of these products has been put on the agenda. We will also promote the development and production of such products as trailer pump and concrete spreader.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

CIFA has production bases in Italy and Changsha City of Hunan Province, China. According to the unified quality requirements of CIFA, they produce concrete equipment of CIFA brand to be exported to different overseas markets. The two sides have also jointly developed a series of world-class concrete equipment including the 101-meter pump truck with carbon fiber boom and concrete spraying manipulator.<\/p>\n
