On April, 20, 2016, at the young age of 97 years, Walter Sellick along with sons Howard Sellick – President, David Sellick – Vice President and grandson Colin Sellick – Systems Manager, held a ground breaking ceremony for a new multimillion dollar, 120,000 square feet manufacturing plant.<\/div>\n

Sellick Equipment<\/a> has been \u00a0manufacturing rough terrain and truck mounted forklifts for more than 47 years to a variety of industries including building supply yards and engineered wood products, automotive recycling, oil field services, mining and military applications. \u00a0In recent years, a new generation of forklifts was introduced featuring enhanced ergonomics, environmentally-friendly diesel engines and increased lift capacities. Sellick products are supported by a nationwide dealer network providing superior parts and service needs.<\/div>\n

Sellick Equipment held a ground-breaking ceremony at its 5.2-hectare, or 13-acre, site on Rosenborough Road.<\/p>\n

When complete, Sellick will move from its nearby, 80,000 sq. ft. plant to the 120,00 sq. ft. facility.<\/p>\n

The new plant is expected to open some time in 2017 and Sellick expects the new space to increase both productivity and opportunity to bring in more workers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
