From summer 2018, A2SEA will play a key role in building the 385MW Arkona Offshore Wind Farm for E.ON and Statoil in the Baltic Sea<\/strong><\/p>\n

A2SEA\u2019s<\/a> purpose-built offshore installation vessel SEA CHALLENGER<\/a><\/em> will be deployed to install the 60 Siemens 6MW turbines in 2018.<\/p>\n

The Arkona Offshore Wind Farm<\/a> is located in the Baltic Sea. E.ON will have responsibility for building and operating the wind farm. The energy company Statoil will have a 50-percent stake and be involved in the project from the start. When fully commissioned, the offshore wind farm will provide electricity to approx. 400.000 German homes by 2019.<\/p>\n
