Dutch international crane rental company Hovago<\/a> has ordered nine big Tadano and Demag cranes, all of which will carry the new combined Tadano branding.<\/p>\n

Scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter, the new cranes will carry the Tadano branding and new nomenclature – see: Tadano sets out strategies<\/a>. The nine new cranes include three 220 tonne five axle AC 5.220-1s and two 250 tons five axle AC 5.250-1 All Terrain cranes, plus two of the new 156 ton. Tadano GTC-1800EX telescopic crawler cranes and two 650 tonne CC 38.650-1 lattice boom crawler cranes, complete with Boom. Originally, the three-member Hovago delegation consisting of owner Doron Livnat, international sales manager Tiemen Reitsma and operations manager Paul Staps, traveled to the Tadano Demag plant in Zweibr\u00fccken, simply to gather information about the different cranes and terms that might be available. However, the talks with Tadano Demag chief executive Jens Ennen and sales vice president Thomas Schramm went so well, that the orders were placed, and contracts signed there and then. Also at the negotiating table were sales manager key accounts, Uwe Schlicher and Tadashi Suzuki, and chief executive of Tadano European Holdings.<\/p>\n

Doron Livnat said: “We are absolutely convinced of the quality and innovative strength of the Tadano brand. In the past 30 years, Hovago has bought hundreds of Tadano cranes to our full satisfaction. This is why I support the decision to adopt the unified Tadano brand name across all of the cranes going forward. From my point of view, this is only logical.”<\/p>\n

Jens Ennen said: “Our long and friendly relationship with such important customers as Hovago thrives on this exchange at eye level.”<\/p>\n

Tadashi Suzuki added: “We like it when customers give us open feedback. That is also an expression of trust.”<\/p>\n

Hovago<\/a> has operated Zweibr\u00fccken built Demag cranes for almost 50 years. It currently operates the largest fleet of Demag CC 3800\u2019s in the world with 15 units working on wind turbine installation and other applications worldwide. The company is also celebrating its 75th anniversary this year.<\/p>\n
