Another larger crane\u00a0 \u2013 with a massive 72-meter boom \u2013 had yet to arrive Tuesday afternoon, Zimmer said.<\/p>\n<p>The tower \u2013 empty when it slammed down in the evening two weeks ago \u2013 is resting securely on another now-damaged structure, Zimmer said.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-13640\" src=\"https:\/\/cranemarket.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/crawler-crane-refinfery-cranemarket-300x289.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"289\" srcset=\"https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/crawler-crane-refinfery-cranemarket-300x289.jpg 300w, https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/crawler-crane-refinfery-cranemarket-768x740.jpg 768w, https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/crawler-crane-refinfery-cranemarket.jpg 1000w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The tower fell to the west, away from Vidal Street South, where the main road through Sarnia\u2019s Chemical Valley intersects with Imperial Avenue. Imperial reported no injuries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey should be doing the lift in a few days,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The tower \u2013 empty when it slammed down in the evening two weeks ago \u2013 is resting securely on another now-damaged structure, Zimmer said.<\/p>\n<p>According to<a href=\"https:\/\/www.theobserver.ca\/news\/local-news\/imperial-oil-prepping-to-lift-toppled-tower\"> the Observer<\/a>, Plans are to lift it to add an extra layer of safety for personnel on site, she said, as they figure out the cleanup process.<\/p>\n<p>The tower fell to the west, away from Vidal Street South, where the main road through Sarnia\u2019s Chemical Valley intersects with Imperial Avenue.
