Sabine Pass &#8230; represents a fast-emerging industry. With a further 10 bcf\/d of American LNG already permitted, we will quickly become a major player in the global market,&#8221; said <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chron.com\/search\/?action=search&amp;channel=jobs&amp;inlineLink=1&amp;searchindex=gsa&amp;query=%22Charlie+Riedl%22\">Charlie Riedl<\/a>, executive director of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chron.com\/search\/?action=search&amp;channel=jobs&amp;inlineLink=1&amp;searchindex=gsa&amp;query=%22Center+for+Liquefied+Natural+Gas%22\">Center for Liquefied Natural Gas<\/a>. &#8220;The proven natural gas reserves in the United States confirm that LNG exports will bring significant benefits for the domestic economy. As more LNG comes on stream, those benefits will increase exponentially, in terms of job creation, investment and supply contracts across the whole natural gas supply chain.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div class=\"hdnce-e hdnce-item-47758\">\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.chron.com\/search\/?action=search&amp;channel=jobs&amp;inlineLink=1&amp;searchindex=gsa&amp;query=%22Cheniere+Partners%22\">Cheniere Partners<\/a> is developing and constructing natural gas liquefaction facilities at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chron.com\/search\/?action=search&amp;channel=jobs&amp;inlineLink=1&amp;searchindex=gsa&amp;query=%22Sabine+Pass+LNG+terminal%22\">Sabine Pass LNG terminal<\/a>adjacent to the existing regasification facilities. It plans to construct, over time, up to six liquefaction trains, which are in various stages of development and has entered into six third-party LNG sale and purchase agreements (SPAs).<\/div>\n<p><strong><em>Job outlook<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chron.com\/search\/?action=search&amp;channel=jobs&amp;inlineLink=1&amp;searchindex=gsa&amp;query=%22U.S.+International+Trade+Administration%22\">U.S. International Trade Administration<\/a>, each $1 billion of exports could result in more than 6,000 new jobs. Thus, $13-25 billion worth of LNG exports could mean the creation of roughly 78,000-150,000 new jobs. An analysis by Deloitte and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chron.com\/search\/?action=search&amp;channel=jobs&amp;inlineLink=1&amp;searchindex=gsa&amp;query=%22Energy+Information+Administration%22\">Energy Information Administration<\/a> (EIA), indicates LNG exports will lead to additional U.S. natural gas production, which will in turn help create hundreds of thousands jobs here.<\/p>\n<div id=\"pmad-bt\" class=\"konafilter article04_opt pm-device\">LNG exports terminals are located around the Gulf Coast, with major players in or near the Lone Star state at Freeport, Lake Charles, Cameron, Port Arthur, Cheniere&#8217;s Sabine Pass, Golden Pass (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.chron.com\/search\/?action=search&amp;channel=jobs&amp;inlineLink=1&amp;searchindex=gsa&amp;query=%22Qatar+Petroleum%22\">Qatar Petroleum<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chron.com\/search\/?action=search&amp;channel=jobs&amp;inlineLink=1&amp;searchindex=gsa&amp;query=%22ExxonMobil%22\">ExxonMobil<\/a>) also near Sabine Pass, Brownsville, Corpus Christi and Rio Grande.<\/div>\n<p><strong><em>Additional roles<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chron.com\/search\/?action=search&amp;channel=jobs&amp;inlineLink=1&amp;searchindex=gsa&amp;query=%22Department+of+Energy%22\">Department of Energy<\/a> notes construction and operation of a new project to liquefy natural gas for export will create as many as 50,000 new jobs in design, engineering and construction, which translates into hundreds of millions of dollars in new wages for U.S. workers during the construction of the facility.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.chron.com\/search\/?action=search&amp;channel=jobs&amp;inlineLink=1&amp;searchindex=gsa&amp;query=%22Michael+Levi%22\">Michael Levi<\/a>, director of the energy security and climate change program at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chron.com\/search\/?action=search&amp;channel=jobs&amp;inlineLink=1&amp;searchindex=gsa&amp;query=%22Council+on+Foreign+Relations%22\">Council on Foreign Relations<\/a>, said expanded natural gas production required for just a portion of the proposed LNG export facilities would support approximately 40,000 jobs along the entire supply chain.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, there are 15 LNG export terminals or trains that have received both Free Trade Approval (FTA) and non-FTA approvals, both of which are required.<\/p>\n<p>There are also 30 LNG export terminals\/trains that have received FTA approval and are under review for the non-FTA approval.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This event opens a new chapter for the country in energy trade and is a milestone for Cheniere as we prepare Train 1 for commercial operations,&#8221; said <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chron.com\/search\/?action=search&amp;channel=jobs&amp;inlineLink=1&amp;searchindex=gsa&amp;query=%22Neal+Shear%22\">Neal Shear<\/a>, chairman of the board and interim chief executive officer of Cheniere Partners. &#8220;This accomplishment would not have been possible without many years of hard work by our employees;
