CONSTRUCTION workers on a Wembley site have some cleaning up to do after a 130-ton Grove All Terrain operated by Kwik Transport & Crane Hire<\/a> toppled over this morning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The crane, reportedly weighing as much as 130 tons, was operating on a construction site at the corner of Pangbourne and Ruislip streets in Wembley.<\/p>\n

The crane toppled before 10am this morning and hit a water main and through new roof construction.<\/p>\n

Pindan Construction director Mark Thompson said no one was injured and damage to the site and crane was minimal.<\/p>\n

“As is the case with any incidents, Pindan has commenced an investigation into the cause,” he said.<\/p>\n

“Pindan is also working with Worksafe on their investigation of the incident.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mr Thompson said the crane was stabilized and would be removed.<\/p>\n
