{"id":11528,"date":"2017-06-23T17:33:52","date_gmt":"2017-06-23T17:33:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/minutes.machine.market\/?p=11528"},"modified":"2017-06-23T17:33:52","modified_gmt":"2017-06-23T17:33:52","slug":"dellner-dampers-chosen-by-zpmc-to-supply-protective-energy-absorbing-buffers-for-three-ship-to-shore-cranes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/dellner-dampers-chosen-by-zpmc-to-supply-protective-energy-absorbing-buffers-for-three-ship-to-shore-cranes\/","title":{"rendered":"Dellner Dampers chosen by ZPMC to supply protective, energy absorbing buffers for three ship-to-shore cranes"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"lead\">\n<p>Swedish company <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dellnerdampers.se\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dellner Dampers<\/a> has been chosen by the world\u2019s largest crane manufacturer, Shanghai based <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zpmc.com\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ZPMC,<\/a> to supply protective, energy absorbing buffers for three ship-to-shore cranes that are destined for the Freeport Container Port expansion in Grand Bahama.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The cranes will be fitted with Dellner HYBUFF G120-500F hydraulic buffers which, having been custom-built in Sweden to ZPMC\u2019s exact specifications, deliver a 500mm stroke and damping force of up to 700 kN.<\/p>\n<p>Each crane will be fitted with eight buffers (shock absorbers) one at each corner of the trolley and one at each corner of the gantry base to absorb energy and protect the crane from damage in the event of collision. Dellner Dampers has also been chosen to supply dampers for four crane spreaders that industry leader Bromma is providing for the Freeport expansion.<\/p>\n<p>Dellner Dampers Sales Manager Mikael Sund said: We are delighted to be working with ZPMC and Bromma on the prestigious Freeport expansion project.
