Jeff Palmer.<\/p>\n<p>Police, firefighters and paramedics all responded to the scene, where an excavator had accidentally overturned while working at the top of a steep slope. The worker inside the machine was then thrown from the excavator.<\/p>\n<p>The 34-year-old worker received treatment on-site, but was shortly declared dead at the\u00a0scene.<\/p>\n<p>WorkSafe BC and the BC Coroners&#8217;\u00a0Service are now in charge of the investigation.<\/p>\n<p><em>With files from Liam Britten<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Worksafe BC is investigating after a worker was killed in an accident on the North\u00a0Shore Wednesday.
