{"id":11049,"date":"2017-04-25T16:08:06","date_gmt":"2017-04-25T16:08:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/minutes.machine.market\/?p=11049"},"modified":"2017-04-25T16:08:06","modified_gmt":"2017-04-25T16:08:06","slug":"national-nbt40-boom-truck-crane-tips-over-in-downtown-dallas-killing-one-worker","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/national-nbt40-boom-truck-crane-tips-over-in-downtown-dallas-killing-one-worker\/","title":{"rendered":"National NBT40 Boom Truck Crane Tips over in downtown Dallas killing one worker"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to a tipped over National NBT40 boom truck crane mounted on a Freightliner chassis Monday afternoon on the outskirts of Downtown Dallas.<\/p>\n<p>When firefighters arrived at the location, just behind the Dallas Black Arts Dance Theatre, they found the boomtruck crane tipped over on its side and into a fenced-off area surrounding a T-Mobile cell phone tower.<\/p>\n<p>According to Dallas Fire-Rescue, there were three adult male workers at the site doing work on the tower when the crane tipped over and fell into the area where two of the men were working.<\/p>\n<p>The crane operator was uninjured, one of the men on the ground suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a local hospital for further evaluation, however a second man on the ground was crushed by the crane and died at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities have not identified any of the men involved at this time.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-11050\" src=\"https:\/\/cranemarket.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/National-NBT40-boomtruck-crane.jpg\" alt=\"National NBT40-boomtruck-crane\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" srcset=\"https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/National-NBT40-boomtruck-crane.jpg 640w, https:\/\/machine.market\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/National-NBT40-boomtruck-crane-300x169.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to a tipped over National NBT40 boom truck crane mounted on a Freightliner chassis Monday afternoon on the outskirts of Downtown Dallas.
