Romania’s construction output rose 9.4% on the year in May, following a 8.6% rise a month earlier, working-day adjusted data from the statistics office, INS, showed on Wednesday.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly comparison basis, construction production fell 3% in May after a 5.9% rise in April, the stats office said in a statement.
On an unadjusted basis, Romania’s May construction output was up 6.2% on the month and by 8.9% on the year.
