New Jersey’s shiny golden dome flanked by two All Terrain Crane in Gov. Chris Christie’s $300M Statehouse renovation project.
 The view of the Capitol dome at the New Jersey Statehouse is different now.

The shiny golden dome is still as imposing as ever, but it is presently flanked by two huge All Terrain Cranes as exterior work progresses on Gov. Chris Christie’s $300M Statehouse renovation project.

Financing for the massive effort was approved last May.

The front entrance on the West State Street side is fenced off while exterior work is done. A sign directs visitors to the Annex for entry.
