Farming Life reports Merlo Telehandlers sales are on the rise according to Northern Ireland machinery dealer T. McFarland Agri.
For many years Merlo was viewed by many farmers in a very under rated manner as a telehandler manufacturer, but now farmers and contractors alike are beginning to sit up and take note that their perceptions and ideas of these machines were wrong and now have come to appreciate the Hydrostatic drive concept and all that Merlo has to offer.
The general design, build quality and compactness of these machines have appealed to a lot of new customers that generally have previously only considered the likes of JCB or Manitou.
McFarlands have been Merlo dealers since 2004 under sub dealer status, but received main dealer status in early 2013.
The most popular models that McFarland’s sell are the Compact machines P32.6, medium machine TF35.7-120 and the larger machines TF38.7-120 and TF42.7-156 all of which come with a two year warranty and 0% finance over three years.
