Lift Tech founder and CEO Josh LeBlanc said his company offers crane operator training and certification; crane inspection and certification; and accident investigation, along with heavy lifting jobs.

Lift Tech receives help training and certifying crane operators from RPCC. The partners conduct mobile crane operator training and certification courses, with nearly 100 percent of graduates securing employment.

RPCC manages all enrollment, tuition and documentation and provides the facility, while Lift Tech provides the crane, designed the outdoor training course and provides instructors.

“The idea is to create programs where our students achieve their dreams and our partners get a return on their investment,” said Bruce Waguespack, RPCC’s vice chancellor for workforce development.

“This is great for us,” LeBlanc said. “Industries up and down the river are looking to their regional educators as potential partners. We’re just glad RPCC was so willing and able.”
