Jumbo’s heavy lift vessel Fairlane loaded two LHM 800 Liebherr cranes. These are the most powerful mobile harbour cranes in the world and able to unload the largest modern container ships available; the Post-Panamax vessels.
The two LHM 800 cranes – each of which weigh 490 tonnes and measure 57.4 m high – have been extended in order to unload large post-Panamax container ships.
According to Heavy Lift PFI, both of the mobile harbour cranes are destined for delivery to Montecon, operator of the Uruguayan Port of Montevideo. According to Liebherr, the port cranes have a maximum lifting capacity of over 300 tonnes.
Jumbo Maritime NL, which has handled a number of crane shipments for Liebherr in the past, informed that Fairlane has lifting capacity of 800 tonnes.
