Access platform lift stuck at 51 stories over a Sydney Building is safely lowered

A crawler mounted access platform lift stuck on top of a 51-story building at in Sydney has now been safely lowered, builder Lendlease has said.

The derrick crane became jammed while trying to lower the machinery, which was then left suspended high above the ground.

No-one was injured but part of the site was evacuated and an exclusion zone set up. Police say all roads have now reopened.
