Birmingham Crane Hire has taken delivery of its first ever Liebherr, a new LTM 1060-3.1 all-terrain crane.

Birmingham Crane Hire has taken delivery of its first ever Liebherr, a new LTM 1060-3.1 all-terrain crane.

The hire company has specified the 60-tonne class crane with optional wireless remote control and the VarioBase asymmetric outrigger system.

The five-section boom of the Liebherr LTM 1060-3.1 gives a maximum lifting height of 48 metres without attachments.

Birmingham Crane Hire sales director Mark Weatherson said:  “We believe the LTM 1060-3.1 to be the best 60-tonne capacity three-axle machine on the market. We‘re impressed with the build quality and attention to detail and also the service received from Liebherr’s sales team. This may be our first Liebherr but it will not be our last.”
