CBS Denver reports the Mile High City’s highest pool received a makeover today. The Warwick Hotel upgraded it’s iconic rooftop pool with a new version thanks to an All Terrain crane supplied by Denver based RMS Cranes.

NBC 9News has a nice video of the lift below

The new pool was lifted up above 16 stories at the historic hotel located at 18th and Grant.

The new pool cost $1 million and once installed will claim the title as Denver’s highest open air pool. The pool is only for guest use and will be open in July.

The pool is the first phase in a $10 million renovation. In October, every room will undergo renovations along with the main corridors and restaurant.
